Katie Dugan '20G, advancement communications manager at SNHU.Katie Dugan '20G is an advancement communications manager and alumna of Southern New Hampshire University, where she completed her master's in communication. Her enthusiasm for storytelling and heart for connection began when she was an assistant editor of The Suffolk Journal, the student newspaper at Suffolk University. She combines professional expertise with her passion for accessible education to bring compelling communication strategies to life. Serving with Purpose the SNHU Way: Parks, People and the Planet

This past spring, SNHU alumni, students and employees commemorated the 10th annual Global Days of Service (GDS). From large-scale conservation projects to a microcosm of volunteers crafting for good, the SNHU community came together for the shared purpose of making a difference.

SNHU Community Volunteers More Than 9,000 Hours of Service This Spring

More than 1,648 SNHU students, staff, faculty, alumni and volunteers contributed over 9,196 hours of service during the university’s 8th annual Global Days of Service. Participants had the opportunity to join an official project in their area or take part in a do-it-yourself project this spring.

SNHU Celebrations: 2022 Homecoming Unites the Global Community

Homecoming is an annual community-wide celebration that brings together alumni, campus students, online students, faculty, staff and SNHU families. After two years of hosting a virtual Homecoming, the event’s planning committee was thrilled to add in-person activities and meet-ups to the schedule.

The 10th annual SNHU Homecoming featured live and on-demand activities, packed with family-friendly fun for everyone. While the ongoing pandemic promoted the event’s entirely virtual nature, the format ensured the inclusion of the entire community.
