Her 'Why': To open her own healthcare agency

Triniti Adams '25 has dreams of making an impact in healthcare.

She said she hopes to become a difference-maker in her own Oklahoma City community, helping provide relief to those who could use extra assistance with their healthcare needs. “I want to open up my own healthcare agency for all the elderly, post-op surgery, all the overlooked people,” she said.

The first step in making her dream a reality? Earning her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Health at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).

According to Adams, her coursework gave her a solid foundation in public health and prepared her for what comes next — for her, a master's program. “My public health classes really gave me all the information I needed,” she said. “They helped me learn how to put everything into words.”

Support From the Start

Adams said she chose SNHU because of how welcomed and supported she felt from the beginning. Throughout her program, SNHU staff regularly called her to check in. “I just really love that supportive community and team," she said.

Her advisor, Sarah Gover, was a big part of that support, according to Adams. “She really helped check in with me and make sure everything was set up and that I had all the best help and assistance that I needed,” she said.

Overall, Adams said the experience of earning her degree changed her for the better. “What's changed is my discipline and my determination,” she said. “I would say I'm more confident and I'm more disciplined. And those are great things to have for my next step onto my master's degree.”
