Manchester, NH (March 6, 2014) - Southern New Hampshire University received accolades last night for Best Online Degree Program in New Hampshire Business Review’s 2014 Best of Business Reader’s Poll. This is the seventh consecutive year that SNHU has been honored by NHBR's BOB awards.

"With 3,900 ballots cast in 90-plus categories this year, the BOBs continue to serve as the standard of excellence for doing business in New Hampshire," said Jeff Feingold, editor of NHBR. The winners were recognized at a luau-themed event on Thursday, March 6, at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH.

The 2014 Best of Business Awards were presented by NHBR and sponsored by Comcast Business Class, FairPoint Communications, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, AutoFair, Cross Insurance, Business & Industry Association of NH and WZID.

Lisa Marsh Ryerson Becomes the 6th President of Southern New Hampshire University

Lisa Marsh Ryerson, a trusted leader with vast experience in higher education and nonprofit management, began her tenure today as the sixth president of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). Ryerson, who previously served on the SNHU Board of Trustees for six years before taking on the role of university provost in 2022, succeeds Dr. Paul J. LeBlanc who announced his decision to step down late last year following 21 years of transformational leadership.
