How to Plan Your Virtual Ceremony
It can be just as important to celebrate with all the people who supported you along the way. Here are some tips to make your at-home party memorable:
- Get the Virtual Commencement Ceremony link set up on your computer or TV screen
- Designate a friend to take a picture when your name is called
- Have beverages of choice ready for toasts
- Make sure a cake knife is on hand so slices can be passed out
- Record the obligatory video of you throwing your cap into the air – and don't forget to post it on social media with #snhucelebrate

Meet Kayleigh Maier, an SNHU campus student who chose to cross the Commencement stage with her mother, Heather, who studied online. With her bachelor’s degree now in-hand, Kayleigh aspires to become an author.
Navy Veteran Earns SNHU Degree after Cancer Diagnosis
Meet Remus Figueroa, a Navy veteran and father of three, who began his SNHU journey after his first day of chemotherapy. Despite the challenges he faced, juggling work, life, school, and a cancer diagnosis, Remus persisted and graduated alongside his wife and number one supporter, Marlene.
Changing Paths at 61: The Journey of an Aspiring Attorney
Meet Sharla Kaleihua Kahale-Miner who traveled to SNHU Commencement all the way from Hawaii’s big island. After seeing the disparities in her community, she decided to go back to school and become a voice for locals. With her SNHU degree, she plans to continue on to law school and become an attorney.
SNHU Staff Graduate Together
With their MS in Higher Education Administration degrees, Frederico and Alexa both became the first in their families to earn a graduate degree. Frederico, who emigrated from Brazil at age ten in pursuit of the American dream, works in the Registrar’s Office, and Alexa, serves as a team lead in the Admissions Office.

Diverse Journeys, One Destination: Celebrating SNHU’s Spring Graduates
Four ceremonies spanned SNHU's Commencement Weekend, which brought nearly 4,200 SNHU graduates to Manchester, New Hampshire, to participate in long-held and much-awaited graduation traditions. This spring, more than 16,700 graduates joined an ever-growing community of 215,000 SNHU alumni.
Fall Commencement Ceremonies Celebrate More Than 17K SNHU Graduates
Some 3,500 students traded warm hats and coats for graduation caps and gowns inside the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Saturday. These graduates enrolled at SNHU for different reasons and from diverse backgrounds, but they now share at least one commonality: They are college graduates.
In Full Bloom: Class of 2022 Grads Join the Growing Alumni Community
Graduation ceremonies celebrate the effort that guided graduates through their courses and late nights, class discussions and final projects. They also look toward the future. More than 15,000 SNHU graduates are beginning the next chapter of their lives with a degree in hand this spring.
