After earning her associate degree from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), Minda Thurman '18 '23 '26G suffered a brain aneurysm and a stroke. But she didn't let that stop her from achieving her goals and going on to earn a bachelor's and a master's degree next.

Jordan (Lake) Remmes ’08 ’16 has some history with SNHU. It’s where she lived and learned as a traditional campus student, immersed in academics and extracurriculars. And it’s where she earned her master’s degree as a new mom — her babies close by as she worked on her assignments online.

Cynthia Preston '26 came out of retirement to go back to school. After spending her career as a tailor in the fashion industry, she decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in marketing at SNHU — and advised all new students to follow their passions as well when choosing a major.
