Every spring and fall, the Southern New Hampshire University community comes to together to celebrate its graduates at Commencement. Whether attending in person or virtually, cheering in the crowd or watching along at home, we want everyone to be a part of the celebration. Southern New Hampshire University’s 86th Commencement weekend was held Saturday, May 12, and Sunday, May 13. Guest speakers for the four ceremonies – which recognized about 6,000 graduating students – were Dan Shaughnessy, Azmat Khan, Eric Garcetti and Dr. Vincent W. Patton III.
The 2017 SNHU Commencement Ceremonies were held on Saturday, May 13, and Sunday, May 14, at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH.
Immediately following the ceremonies, graduates and their family members were invited to a reception on the SNHU campus.
Southern New Hampshire University held its 84th commencement Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15, 2016. More than 8,500 family and friends celebrated over 10,000 graduates in four ceremonies. Guest speakers included Ted Mitchell, Dr. Swanee Hunt, John Fallon and the Honorable Bob Kerrey.
SNHU celebrated its 83rd commencement on May 9, 2015. Speakers included former Hewlett-Packard CEO and presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, AARP Foundation President Lisa Marsh Ryerson, and Bassem Youssef, former host of the TV show “Al-Bernameg.”
The 82nd SNHU commencement ceremony was held May 10, 2014. U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky and New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan delivered commencement addresses to over 2,000 online and on campus students.
