"I talked to a co-worker that was attending SNHU, and he gave the school high marks."
I first attended college in 1978 and at that time, I was a student and athlete. As an 18-year-old and not having a clue about what I wanted to be, my focus was on sports. After three years in college, I decided I would rather work than go to school. At first, I worked several construction-related jobs before taking on a job as a loan officer. Twenty-five years later, I'm in the midst of a 17-year career in supply chain with a major manufacturer of aircraft parts. Since I first left college, I've had a burning desire to go back. Last fall, I decided it was time to pull the trigger.
I selected SNHU primarily because they are one of the preferred schools of my employer. In addition, I talked to a co-worker that was attending SNHU, and he gave the school high marks. Going back to school was more of a personal thing than anything else. However, it's more than personal now, as what I'm learning has been applied to my job. In fact, since I started at SNHU, I've received a promotion that was directly related to continuing my education. Once I'm finished, and have earned my degree, I will receive another promotion. Needless to say, I'm happy with my decision to pursue an education and extremely happy that I chose SNHU.
